FHL Mock Drafts

The draft is less than a week away. On Saturday, the fate of every player in the FHL will be decided. What color will they be wearing every Saturday this year? White, Brown, Black, Green, Blue, or Gold? What team logo will be on their chest? This weekend, their were two mock drafts made. The one on the left is made up by the FHL Captains, John George, Joe Rogers, Andrew McDonald, and Brian Grise. On the right is Adam Cristallini's mock draft. Be sure to comment or tweet (@FHL_Hockey) your responses to these mock drafts.

(Pick) Team

FHL Captain’s Mock

Adam Cristallini

1. Crosby’s

CHAD KANZ

CHAD KANZ This one is easy. His name is Chad Kanz and he wants to win a championship and his clock is ticking since he has become a family. A title for him and Captain John George would be icing on the cake.

2. Moose

DREW HRUSKA

DAVE GILSON/RYAN STOTLEMEYER I think the Moose come away with Goaltender, Dave Gilson. Why not, John George has built his franchise on tough teams and good defense. Gilson have certainly been a part of that before and would be the right fit to elevate Crosby’s right away from the start

3. Thunder

ROY MCDONALD

ROY MCDONALD

THUNDA! AWAAH AHHH AHHH AHH….THUNDUH. Roy McDonald is the no brainer here. Andrew’s older brother and idol since birth, can help “AMAC” reach the title game and win it.

McDonald has the solid goalie in Dave Kwolek, now he has the solid goal scorer in Roy.

4. Whalers

TOM FETSKO

DREW HRUSKA

Joe Rogers, the newest captain in town, has the cool logo. Does he go with the cool pick? Yes he does, and his name is Drew Hruska. Some have said that Hruska is the ultimate game changer. Another pure athlete, and great way to build a program.

5. Jets

MARK FETSKO

RICK SEVERA

Okay, with every team having a goalie, this make the Mock Draft a little more difficult this year. And if Zak Campbell is smart, he picks one at #5. He is league personality, Rick Severa. Although crazy at times, he even more crazy when on top of his game and rejecting balls. Go ahead laugh at that, no one will judge

6. Bishop Boyle

RICK SEVERA

CRIAG HIXON

What will Bishop Boyle do? Draft someone who will show up every week? Yes they will. It’s another goalie, named Craig Hixon. Small in stature, but has been big in the net since joining the league and it regarded as one of the best.

7. Bishop Boyle

SHANE LUCAS

SHANE LUCAS

With number 7 in the draft, Boyle selects, Shane Lucas. This guy is a beast and one of the most solid players to come onto the scene in recent memory. They say soccer skills carry over, and the definitely do with Lucas.

8. Jets

BUDDY DOYLE

JASON TATRAI

Jason Tatrai comes home to the Jets to be the quiet assassin and a shutdown defender like he has throughout his career.

9. Whalers

MATT WIERCHOWSKI

BUDDY DOYLE

Buddy Doyle. He is the dominant defender that every team wants but only the Whalers get him this year.

10. Thunder

RYAN PERHAC

TOM FETSKO

Tom Fetsko makes noise for Andrew McDonald and makes up a strong blue line. The best shot blocker in FHL history

11. Moose

JEFF ROGERS

JEFF ROGERS

Jeff Rogers slips down to his roots with the Moose and with his good buddy Zack Siniawski.

12. Crosby’s

DAVE GILSON/RYAN STOTLEMEYER

RYAN CLEARY

Ryan Cleary. He will have a strong season and help the Crosby’s go where they want to go.

13. Crosby’s

JASON TATRAI

RYAN FISH

14. Moose

BRIAN BARCA

BILL SEAMAN

15. Thunder
