Pirates (1-3, 5-11) vs. Bishop Boyle (1-3, 5-9)
The first match-up of the week puts two struggling teams against each other. First, Bishop Boyle comes into this week five battle with an unbelievable four goals on the season, including zero goals in the last two weeks. To make matters even worse, Boyle will be without 75% of their offense, as Captain Brian Grise (1 goal) and Franchise Player Nick Siniawski (2 goals). Grise will be at baseball, as Siniawski has made his way back to school. If there’s a positive point for Boyle, it’s that they’re facing the league’s second worst offense, and worst defense in the Pirates. The Pirates have scored 12 goals, and gave up 20. The Pirates will need to rely on their balanced offense attack which includes Tony Bonacorso (4 goals, 1 assist), Buddy Doyle (2 goals, 4 assists), Andrew McDonald (2 goals, 3 assists), Ryan Cleary (2 goals, 4 assists), and Brian Hreha (1 goal, 1 assist), while Boyle will need role players to step up, such as Shane Lucas, Tom Fetsko, Ben Bobick, and Mike Pavasko.
Cristallini Prediction: Pirates win series in 3.

Jets (3-1, 9-5) vs. Moose (3-1, 11-6)
The 12:30 match-up is between two of the three 3-1 teams in the FHL. The first place Moose come in leading the league in goals for, getting contributions from everyone. Even without captain Zack Siniawski who has been nursing a hamstring injury for a few weeks now, the Moose have brought a strong game each week. Led by Jeff Rogers (6 goals, 4 assists), who has finally gotten back to 2007-08 form. Jay Haddad (4 goals) and Gabe Gerson (3 goals) have also stepped up in the absence of their captain. The Moose will go up against the defending champions, the Jets, who have scored just one less goal than the Moose, but have allowed a league low 7 goals. This stout defensive unit includes Captain Zak Campbell, Jason Tatrai, Adam Pander, and the veteran Bill Seaman. That along with a league leading 11 goals from Brian Barca has the Jets looking for a three-peat as FHL Champions.
Cristallini Prediction: Moose win series in 5.

Kings (1-3, 7-9) vs. Crosby's (3-1, 10-7)
Finally, the Crosby’s take on the Kings at 2PM. The Kings come in tied with the Pirates giving up 20 goals. But with contributions from almost everyone, they managed to score 16 goals. They’re led by Matt Wierchowski and Adam Cristallini offensively, but the surprise came when the line of Ryan Stottlemeyer (5 goals, 1 assist) and Joe Sims (1 goal, 3 assists), along with Ryan Mains (3 goals, 2 assists) put up great numbers in the first four weeks. Everyone knows what to expect when they face the Crosby’s, and that’s a solid team effort. One of the closest teams in the league, the Crosby’s defensive unit of John George, Dave Gilson, Mike Stadleman, and Mike Cullen compliments the star studded offensive attack of Roy McDonald (8 Goals, 2 Assists) and Zack Wahal (4 goals, 6 assists).
Cristallini Prediction: Kings win series in 5.
