2009-10 Franchise Preview: Moose

Just like the Pirates of 2008, the Moose are the FHL's new expansion team. GM Zack Siniawski gets his choice of anyone in the league. Last year, the Pirates were blessed with Tony Bonacorso. This year, it doesn't seem like there is a guaranteed franchise player. Assuming that all five of the players listed earlier - Brian Barca, Bonacorso, Roy McDonald, Nick Siniawski, and Chad Kanz - are all franchised, anyone could be wearing the Moose's green next year. Dustin Hess, Tom Fetsko, Buddy Doyle, Matt Wierchowski, Jeff Rogers, and Drew Hruska seem like front-runners. The Moose, already with Siniawski, seem to be looking for a defenseman. "Uncle Z" could move to offense, and that is why the Moose should pick Jeff Rogers. OUR PICK
