Gary Gerson Hawks 3 Goals, 3 Points Shoot-Out Game Winner The Third-Round Pick, Gary Gerson, looked stellar in his first game in a Hawks uniform. With three goals, including one for a game winner, Gerson found himself at the top of the league in goals after week one. He added a Shoot-Out Game Winner in Game 2 of the 3-2 Series Win against the Kings.
Tony Bonacorso Pirates 3 Goals, 3 Points 2 Game Winning Goals In his first career FHL game, Tony Bonacorso impressed many. He scored three goals for the Pirates, helping them defeat the Jets in five games. Two of his three goals were game winners. His third goal came late in Game 5 with a tie score, which eventually became the difference maker in the series.
Jeff Rogers Bishop Boyle Lancers 2 Goals, 3 Assists, 5 Points 1 Game Winning Goal Jeff Rogers' first game for Bishop Boyle was a successful one. The Lancers defeated the Crosby's 3-1, behind Rogers' two game winning goals to go along with three assists and sound defense. Along with those game winning goals, Jeff set up the game-winning, series-ending goal in the Overtime of Game 4.
