Who to Franchise? A Look at the Jets Options.

Brian Barca or Mark Fetsko?
According to the FHL Fans, the Jets should franchise Brian Barca. In a close poll, Barca finished with a 10 to 9 victory in votes. Very Close. Well, what do you do if you're Mr. Zak Campbell? We'll take a look. Brian Barca: 31 Goals, 20 Assists, 51 Points. Mark Fetsko: 11 Goals, 21 Assists, 32 Points Barca also has 2 championships in two FHL seasons compared to Fetsko's 1. Although the stats seem to favor Brian Barca, Mark Fetsko was not at as many games(Games Played stat not available at this point.) Also, Fetsko brought his game to the FHL Playoffs this year. He led the Jets to a Championship and was named FHL Playoffs MVP. Brian Barca also had something to say about his off season situation: "The summer has been great with the cup. I held on to it for a couple of days right after the championship and it definitely brought back memories of having it the first time around. As far as the franchise situation, I understand that the FHL is a business and that only one player from each team can be protected. With that, I will also say that it is hard to think that our team won't completely be together again at the start of next year. As much as I would look forward to playing with some new teamates as there is a lot of talent in the league, I will miss playing for the Jets if not protected and also Mark Fetsko, who has been family for the last 15 years to me. It's hard, but it's something you have to accept. You never know though, maybe some of the team can stay together depending on how the draft goes. it's the nature of the beast. We'll just have to wait and see..." - - - - -
"It's going to be a tough decision," Campbell stated. "Each of the two players have done a lot for the Jets. I haven't made a decision yet, but look for one soon. I am going to meet with Brian Barca and Mark Fetsko, and then decide the future of the Jets Organization." Its going to be an off season to remember for Campbell and the Jets, as well as the whole FHL Organization. Stay Tuned for more breaking news during the FHL Off Season.
